Adam is a former collegiate baseball player (Salisbury University Gulls) with over 15 years experience in the field of strength and conditioning. After finishing his playing career Adam sought out a fitness program that would also fuel his competitive nature. He found it in spades with CrossFit. The ability to use a program to push his limits and to constantly evaluate himself internally and against others has been life-changing for Adam. His passion as a trainer is to pass on his love for CrossFit with everyone who walks through the doors of CrossFit Salisbury.
What’s your favorite workout?
I love them all but one of the things that really gets me fired up is taking on a workout that seems impossible on paper. One of these workouts for me was “King Kong”. For some it’s not difficult (3 Rounds of 1 Deadlift at 455, 2 Muscle-ups, 3 Squat Cleans at 250 and 4 Handstand Push-ups) but for me it took years to get my deadlift heavy enough to take on this WOD. Once I was finally able to do it Rx’d it left me with a tremendous amount of pride.

Spending time with my amazing family. My wife Dana, son Asher and daughter Avery are my favorite things in this entire world so doing anything with them is my FAVORITE thing!!!
Advice for someone starting or wanting to start CrossFit
A quote my father told me that is always in the back of my mind, “don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today”. Life is short, don’t let another single day slip by where you’re in your bed at night thinking what if?
