“The better part of my life I struggled with my weight and eating habits, being a size 20 at my heaviest. After years of yo-yo dieting and exercising and restricting food intake to lose weight, I was introduced by a good friend to Crossfit.
I started with Crossfit Salisbury in 2011. I was scared, intimidated and excited. Crossfit challenged every aspect of my well being- specifically mentally and physically, and helped to breathe new life into me. The constant variation of movements challenges you day in and day out. The guidance of the coaches and the support of the great athletes constantly inspires me.
Through a healthy diet, running and Crossfit I have transformed my mind and body. My confidence level is higher and I have learned that there is an athlete in every one of us.”
